25 juli Bolshoi Ballet at Carre in Amsterdam

Having visited the Bolshoi Ballet twice in the eighties in Moscow while attending the World Youth Festival there, but never since been able to see this magnificent Ballet company agai, I now have the chance to see them perform here 'at home' in Amsterdam.
And ofcourse, it will be great to introduce them to Kik. It will be a one time opportunity I think, to show him the Bolshoi. I hope it will be a real wonderfull experience for him!
Originally I thought to book all 3 ballets they are going to perform, but since I called them and heard the ticketprice, uhum, I decided one performance would be just great as well....... due to my eye problems, which I have since 1996 I need to sit not too far from the stage if I want to have a decent view of the events taking place on the stage, ergo most of the time one is stuck with the somewhat more expensive seats... now in general thats okay, aha, but this special performance of the Bolshoi is of a total different class, so also the ticketprices are ;-)
The Bolshoi has been performing these last two years twice abroad, in London and New York, and so Amsterdam will be their third foreign stage they perform on.
The ballet I chose to go and see with Kik is "Spartacus". SwannLake I had allready seen though ofcourse the Bolshoi-performers have changed since 1985 (at least I hope so, uhum) and KIk might enjoy this Roman situated spectacle.
He then will be able to compare it with the Simon Cabaret performance in Phuket of their Egyptian/Roman scene the have, and in which Kik danced as well..... but am afraid that he will be blown away by the Bolshoi performance (at least I hope he will, and me as well for that matter)...... but thats my anticipation.
The announcement on the Carre-website, about this particular piece of ballet reads as follows (sorry guys, this is in Dutch):
Realy looking forward to go and see them with Kik, and afterwards, hopefully, I will write a most enthousiastic report here!
